ORTHOTIC INLAYS

CUSTOM-MADE ORTHOTIC INLAYS: HIGH-TECH PRECISION WORK.

A custom-made orthopaedic inlay is often sufficient to reduce or completely eliminate most complaints in feet or higher up in the body. At House of Feet, each orthotic inlay is perfectly tailored to your foot. Prior to production, there is an analysis of the problem and an accurate digital measurement. Then the inlay is made, perfectly adapted to the specific needs you have.
Many patients show improved walking comfort, but often also a significant improvement in their neck and back problems. The feet carry our entire body, so a little support is often indispensable.

WHY ORTHOPAEDIC INLAYS?

FOR WHOM?

Our feet carry our entire body. Complaints often arise from overload, inflammation, heel spurs, etc. Complaints can arise in the feet, but also higher up: knees, hips, back, etc., A good custom-made inlay is usually sufficient to remedy the complaints or to reduce them considerably. Anyone who experiences discomfort will benefit from some extra support for the feet. Athletes, who often strain their feet intensively as well as their muscles and joints, often use orthotic inlays. Did you know that many professional athletes are clients of House of Feet?

THIS IS HOW WE WORK

At House of Feet, orthopaedic inlays are made individually on the basis of a footprint or a 3D scan, and where appropriate after a foot analysis. For rheumatic, diabetic, arthrotic and tendon disorders we almost always work on a plaster cast so that the shape of the inlay supports the arches of the foot 100%. Our orthotic inlays can also be milled in 3D.
The materials for the orthopaedic inlays vary according to the condition and use. For an athlete, we prefer to work with soft and semi-soft materials, while for someone who stands or has to walk a lot for work, we prefer harder materials. The choice is always made in consultation with the doctor and the patient.
